Golden Door is a luxury wellness spa located in San Marcos, California. Featuring an all-inclusive weeklong stay package, Golden Door offers guests a personalized meal plan, fitness regimen, and spa package in order to promote the recharging of guests’ mind, body and spirit.

A stay at Golden Door is truly luxury, and includes free transportation to and from the airport, all meals and snacks, and provides guests access to over 600 acres of hiking trails, farms and Japanese Gardens. Golden Door features only 40 available rooms, so guests are able to relax and meet their health and fitness goals with a staff to guest ratio of 4:1. Because of the small ratio, the staff at Golden Door provides individualized care 24/7 during guests’ stay, to help guests meet their health and fitness goals.

Additionally, included nutrition and mindfulness classes help guests stay motivated and healthy after they leave the resort. During their stay guests are encouraged to partake in a balanced personalized plan that balances healthy eating, exercise, relaxation and mental training.

All 40 rooms at Golden Door are single occupancy only, and feature a variety of amenities and services.

An all-inclusive stay includes breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner, two snacks, nutrition and cooking classes. Breakfast is served to guests in-room, before or after their daily massage, and guests may also participate in a celebratory total-group dinner on Golden Door’s farm.

The food at Golden Door is based in fresh produce grown in their on-site farms and gardens, from which guests may harvest their own food. Not only does Golden Door encourage healthy eating during a guest’s stay, but they also hope to teach guests healthy habits that they can take home with them when they leave the spa.

Location

Golden Door is located in San Marcos, California, about 38 miles north of San Diego. The resort offers private drivers to guests choosing to fly into the San Diego Airport. Once guests land at the airport, they meet their driver at the information desk, and are driven the remaining 40 minutes to the resort.

Additionally, guests who choose to fly privately into Golden Door can utilize the McClellan/Palomar Airport, which is located about 15 miles southwest of the resort.

If it is more convenient, guests may also fly into Los Angeles Airport (LAX) and will be driven by a complimentary driver the remaining 130 miles to the resort.

Pricing

Golden Door offers a single rate of $8,850 for a 7-day fully inclusive stay. This cost includes a personalized meal plan, cooking and nutrition courses, a spa service package, fitness and mindfulness classes, round-trip transportation to and from the airport, a private room with a daily in-room massage, and additional hotel accommodations previously mentioned.

Additional personal training sessions and spa services may be scheduled at an additional cost. The $8,850 rate does not include tax or gratuities.
